Welcome to BestFriendFile. These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and BestFriendFile ("we," "us") that governs your use of the BestFriendFile app and website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who can use BestFriendFile
You must be at least 13 years old to use BestFriendFile. By using the app, you confirm that you are 13 or older. BestFriendFile is not directed to, and is not intended for, children under 13. If we learn that someone under 13 has created an account, we will remove it.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login details private and for activity on your account. Provide accurate information when you sign up, and let us know at BestFriendFileSupport@gmail.com if you think someone else has accessed your account. You may delete your account at any time from within the app.
3. Being a good friend (acceptable use)
BestFriendFile is a kind, private space. When you use it, you agree not to:
- harass, bully, threaten, or impersonate anyone;
- post content that is hateful, sexual, violent, illegal, or otherwise harmful;
- share other people's private information;
- try to access accounts or data that aren't yours, or disrupt or misuse the service;
- use the app to break any law.
You can block or report anyone from inside the app, and you can email us about anything that doesn't feel right.
4. Your content
The favorites, notes, and other content you add are yours. You give us permission to store and display that content as needed to operate the app (for example, showing your profile to the friends you approve). You're responsible for the content you add, and you should only add content you have the right to share.
5. Our content
The BestFriendFile name, logo, mascot (Pip), design, and software are owned by us and protected by intellectual-property laws. Please don't copy or reuse them without permission.
6. Safety and moderation
We want BestFriendFile to stay safe and kind. We may review reported content and may suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms or put others at risk. If you see something concerning, report it in the app or email BestFriendFileSupport@gmail.com.
7. Ending your use
You can stop using BestFriendFile and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the service or other people.
8. Disclaimers
BestFriendFile is provided "as is." We work hard to keep it safe and reliable, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or perfectly secure. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, BestFriendFile is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top and, for significant changes, let users know in the app. Continuing to use BestFriendFile after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
